It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ukuni Woods.
"How's your father, Beshte?" Kion asked.
"He's fine" Beshte answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later and settled down on Beshte's back.
"All clear" Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono" Fuli said warmly.
Kion glanced up.
"What is it, Kion?" Bunga asked.
"I want to talk to Grandma" Kion said.
Fuli and Beshte exchanged a glance.
"Do you want some privacy?" Beshte asked.
Kion shook his head.
"Grandma, I want talk to you!" He called.
He shivered as Uru's spirit embraced him.
"Hello, Kion" Uru said warmly.
"Are you proud of me?" Kion asked.
"Of course I am" she said.
"I love you" Kion said.
"I love you too" Uru said.
Kion watched Uru's spirit fade away.
Meanwhile, Kovu and Kiara had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Kovu asked.
Kiara rubbed a paw against Kovu's cheek.
"It was fine" she said.
She watched Kovu's expression soften.
"Did you have a good patrol?" She asked.
"Mari renewed the scent markings." He purred.
"She's such a sweet cub." Kiara said warmly.
Kovu nuzzled her cheek affectionally.
"I love you" he said.
"I love you too" Kiara answered.
"Do you want to go home?" Kovu asked.
Kovu stood up, and nudged Kiara to her paws.
They began to head back to Pride Rock.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
"Papa's giving the royal contribution at Kupatana" she said.
"What will he do?" Rafiki asked.
"He's giving a speech" Nita answered.
