It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ndefu Grove.
"How's Basi?" Ono asked.
"He's fine." Beshte answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Kion answered.
He pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I have to go meet up with Kiara." Kion said.
Fuli nodded.
"Have a good time." She said warmly.
Kion turned, and bounded off.
When he reached Pride Rock, he saw Kiara settled down outside the den.
He padded forward, and stretched to nuzzle Kiara's cheek.
"Hi Kiara." Kion said.
Kiara's expression softened.
"Hi Kion." She said warmly.
Kion crawled into Kiara's paws, and nestled against her.
"How was your patrol?" Kiara asked.
"It was fine." Kion answered.
He pressed himself against Kiara's pelt.
“How was the hunt?” He asked.
”It was fine.” Kiara said.
"I love you." Kion said.
"I love you too." Kiara purred.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Kenai asked.
"It was fine." Bemba answered.
