It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was doing a patrol in Ukuni Woods.
"How's Mari?" Beshte asked.
"She's fine" Kion answered.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later and settled down on Beshte's back.
"Janja's Clan is attacking Twiga" he said.
Beshte and Fuli exchanged a glance.
"Let's go, Lion Guard" Kion said.
"They're at Nyani Grove" Ono reported.
Kion nodded and led his friends to Nyani Grove.
When they reached it, Kion rushed forward.
"Janja!, leave her alone!" He shouted.
"Why should we?" He asked.
"Seriously" Fuli muttered irritably.
Kion braced himself and performed the Roar.
It sent Janja's Clan toppling backwards.
Kion watched them stumble towards the border, before turning to Twiga.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine. Thanks" she said.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at Mizimu Grove.
They were settled underneath a baobab tree.
"How was the hunt, Grandma?" Kia asked.
"It was fine." Bemba answered.
"Mom told me she caught a thrush" Kenai said.
"I'll see if Nala wants you to join the hunt this evening, Kia." She said.
"Belee too?" Kia asked.
Bemba's expression softened.
"Of course" she said warmly.
"Thanks, Grandma" Kia said.
"You're welcome" Bemba said.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up with Mari at her cave.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"I wanna learn about hunting. Belee and Kia are" Mari said grumpily.
Simba and Nala exchanged a glance.
"Sweetheart, I've already explained why you can't learn yet" Nala said gently.
Mari mewled crossly, and nestled into Simba's pelt.
Simba bent his head, and rasped his tongue over her ear.
"Don't forget Mari, Belee and Kia are older then you." He added kindly.
"They're not that much older, Papa" Mari said.
