It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ndefu Grove.
"How's Mari?" Fuli asked.
"She wants you to visit her" Kion answered.
Fuli's expression softened.
"I'll come soon" she said warmly.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later and settled down on Beshte's back.
"Janja's Clan is attacking Muhimu's Herd" he said.
Kion and Fuli exchanged a glance.
"Where are they, Ono?" Beshte asked.
"They’re at Hapuna Valley" Ono answered.
Kion nodded, and led the way to Hapuna Valley.
When they reached Hapuna Valley, Kion bounded forward.
"Janja, leave them alone!" He called.
Janja cackled.
"Why should we?" He asked.
Kion glanced at Fuli.
Fuli nodded, and moved forward to guide the herd away.
Kion braced himself, and performed the Roar.
It sent Janja's Clan toppling backwards.
Kion watched them stumble towards the border, and padded up to Muhimu.
"Is everyone okay?" He asked.
Muhimu nodded.
"Thank you, Kion" she said warmly.
Meanwhile, Kopa and Clea had met up inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt?" Kopa asked.
"It was fine. Kia caught a thrush" Clea said.
She rubbed her muzzle against Kopa's.
"Did you have a good patrol?" She asked.
Kopa nodded.
"Mari enjoyed herself" he purred.
Clea's expression softened.
"She's such a darling cub" she said.
Kopa nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Kovu and Kiara had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled underneath the baobab tree.
"I love you." Kiara said suddenly.
Kovu rubbed a paw against her cheek.
"I love you too." He said.
