It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was spending time together at the Lair.
"Tell me about Mari" Fuli said eagerly.
Kion's expression softened.
"She's such a sweet child. Zuri says she's a great comfort to her" he said.
"Zuri's still grieving?" Bunga asked.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at The Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"I miss him, Nala" Simba said suddenly.
"Who?" Nala asked gently.
"Dad" Simba answered.
Nala moved closer, and pressed her muzzle into Simba's mane.
"I know, I miss him too" she murmured.
"I wonder if he's truly proud of me" he said.
"I'm sure he is" Nala said warmly.
She sighed, and snuggled into Simba's side.
Simba pressed his muzzle against hers.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm just tired, can we go home?" She answered.
He stood up, and nudged Nala to her paws.
They entwined tails, and headed back to Pride Rock.
