It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Urembo Meadows.
"How's your family?" Beshte asked.
"Everyone's fine" Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later and settled down on Beshte's back.
"All clear" Ono said.
"Thanks Ono" Fuli said.
Kion brushed his muzzle against Fuli's.
"I have to go" he said.
Kion bade goodbye to his friends, and padded off.
When he reached Pride Rock, Mari rushed out to greet him.
"Hi Kion" she said brightly.
Kion rubbed a paw against her cheek.
"Hi Mari" he said warmly.
Mari grasped Kion's paw, and dragged him into the den.
"I love you Mari" he said warmly.
"I love you too" Marigold answered.
"Do you want to hear a story?" Kion asked.
"Tell me about Yeh-Yeh" she said.
Kion nodded, and began to tell her about Ahadi and the drought.
Meanwhile, Kovu and Kiara had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Kovu asked.
"It was fine" Kiara answered.
She rubbed her muzzle against Kovu's cheek.
"I love you" she murmured.
"I love you too" Kovu answered.
He extended a paw, and allowed Kiara to nestle closer to him.
"Do you want to go home?" He asked.
Kovu stood up, and nudged Kiara to her paws.
They began to make their way back to Pride Rock.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at Hapuna Valley.
They were settled underneath a baobab tree.
"How was the hunt Grandma?" Kia asked.
"It was fine. I'll see if you and Belee can join the evening hunt" Bemba answered
"Thanks Grandma" Kia said warmly.
Kenai pressed himself closer to Bemba's pelt.
"I love you" he said.
"I love you both very much" Bemba purred.
