It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Kilio Valley.
"What's Mari doing today?" Fuli asked.
"She's with Nita and Kiara." Kion said.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Good job, Ono." Bunga said.
Kion pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I love you." He said.
Fuli's expression softened.
"I love you too." She answered.
Meanwhile, Kiara had met up with Nita and Marigold inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt, Aunt Kiara?" Nita asked.
"It was fine." Kiara answered.
She and Nita watched Mari nestle against her.
"I love you, Aunt Kiara." Mari said.
Kiara's expression softened.
"I love both of you very much." She said.
Nita pressed herself against Kiara's pelt.
“I need to ask you something.” Nita said.
“What is it?” Kiara prompted.
"Are you proud of me?" Nita asked.
Kiara nodded.
"I'm very proud of both of you." She said.
She rubbed a paw against Nita’s cheek.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Kenai asked.
"It was fine." Bemba answered.
Kia nodded.
"I caught a galago." She said brightly.
"That's wonderful, Kia." Kenai said warmly.
