It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Chakula Plains.
"How's your family, Kion?" Fuli asked.
"Everyone's fine." Kion answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
'Mzingo's Committee is attacking Denahi." Ono said.
Kion and Fuli exchanged a glance.
"Where are they?" Fuli asked.
"They’re at the Water Hole." Ono answered.
"Let's go, Lion Guard." Kion said.
Kion led the way to the Water Hole.
When they arrived, Kion bounded forward.
"Leave him alone, Mzingo!" he called.
Mzingo chuckled.
"I'm afraid it's already been voted on." he said.
Kion glanced at Fuli.
Fuli nodded, and moved forward.
She led Denahi towards Beshte.
Kion unsheathed his claws, and sank them into the earth underneath him.
He braced himself, and performed the Roar.
It sent Mzingo's Committee flying backwards.
Once they'd flown off, Kion glanced at Denahi.
"Are you okay, Nahi?" Kion asked.
Denahi nodded.
"Thanks, Lion Guard." he said.
"You're welcome." Beshte answered.
Kion moved forward.
"Can I take you home?" he asked.
Denahi nodded.
Kion turned to Fuli.
"You can come with us to see Mari." he said.
Fuli's expression softened.
"I'd love too." she said warmly.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
She stopped suddenly when she saw Denahi.
"What happened, Nahi?" Marigold asked.
Denahi and Kion exchanged a glance.
"It's nothing, Mari. I'm fine." Denahi said.
Fuli moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari.
"I'm so glad to see you." Fuli said warmly.
"Hi Fuli." Mari answered.
