It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was doing a patrol in Ukuni Woods.
"Tell us about Belee and Kia's hunting progress" Fuli said.
Kion's expression softened.
"They're progressing wonderfully. We're all very proud of them" he said warmly.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's bask.
"Janja's Clan is attacking Mbuni's Flock" he said.
"Where are they?" Fuli asked.
"They're at Hapuna Valley." Ono answered.
"Let's go, Lion Guard" Kion said.
Ono led the way to Hapuna Valley.
When they reached Hapuna Valley, Kion bounded forward.
"Janja!, leave them alone!" He growled.
Janja cackled.
Kion and Fuli exchanged a glance.
Fuli nodded, and moved towards Mbuni's Flock.
Kion watched her guide them to safety, before unsheathing his claws.
He braced himself and performed the Roar.
It sent Janja's Clan toppling backwards.
Once they had stumbled over the border, Kion rushed up to Mbuni.
"Is everyone okay?, was Kambuni here?" He asked.
"We're fine Kion. Kambuni's with Belee I believe" Mbuni said.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.
"I can't believe I almost caught a gazelle today" Kia said excitingly.
"I'm so proud of you" Bemba purred.
"I'm proud too" Kenai added.
Bemba bent her head, and nuzzled Kia's cheek.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too" Kia said.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"Kia almost caught a gazelle" Nala said.
"Really?" Simba asked.
Nala nodded.
She pressed her muzzle against Simba's cheek.
"I love you" she murmured.
"I love you too. Are you okay?" Simba answered.
"I'm fine" Nala answered.
