It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Kilio Valley.
"How's Ameba?" Kion asked.
"She's fine." Fuli answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Great job, Ono." Bunga said.
Kion pressed his muzzle against Fuli's cheek.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too." Fuli answered.
Meanwhile, Clea had met up with Belee and Denahi inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt?" Denahi asked.
"It was fine." Clea answered.
Belee pressed herself against Clea's pelt.
"I love you, Tante." She said.
Clea's expression softened.
"I love you both very much." Clea said.
"Are you proud of us?" Denahi asked.
Clea nodded.
"I always have been." She said.
She extended a paw, and Denahi nestled against her.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
Simba leaned over, and nuzzled Nala's cheek.
"I'm glad the training is going well." He said.
Nala nodded.
"Yes, I am too." She said.
Simba extended a paw, and Nala nestled against him.
"I love you." Simba said.
"I love you too." Nala answered.
