It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands.
Kion and his friends were patrolling Nyani Grove.
“How's Mari?" Fuli asked.
"She's fine." Kion answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Great job, Ono." Fuli said warmly.
Meanwhile, Denahi had met up with Kovu and Kiara at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"I'm excited to rule the Pridelands someday" Denahi said suddenly.
Kovu and Kiara exchanged a glance.
"I'm glad, Nahi" Kiara said.
"It's a big responsibility" Kovu added.
"I know. I'll have plenty of time to prepare for it" Denahi said.
Kiara leaned over, and nuzzled Denahi’s cheek.
"We're very proud of you.” Kiara said.
“We love you very much" Kovu said.
"I love you too" Denahi said.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
"How was the hunt?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Nala answered.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Simba’s cheek.
