It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Nyani Grove.
"'Mari loves going on patrols with Dad. Mom says it's good for her to explore" Kion said.
"What does Vitani think?" Beshte asked.
"She only agreed to it because Kora's there to watch over her" he explained.
"She still hasn't forgiven Maya?" Bunga asked.
Kion shook his head.
"I don't think she ever will" Kion answered.
He glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear" Ono said.
"Thank you, Ono" Fuli said warmly.
Bunga cleared his throat.
"I have to go. Grandma wants to spend time with me" he said.
"Give Ma my love" he said.
Bunga nodded, and bounded off.
When he reached Pride Rock, he saw Ma waiting outside their cave.
He walked up to her.
"Hi Grandma" he said brightly.
Ma wrapped her paws around him, and pressed her muzzle to his cheek.
"Hello sweetheart. Did you have a good patrol?" She said warmly.
"Kion sends his love" he said.
Ma's expression softened.
"He's such a dear" she murmured.
Bunga took Ma's paw, and led her into their cave.
They settled down in Bunga's nest.
"I love you Grandma" Bunga said.
"I love you too. I am so proud of you" Ma said.
"Really?" Bunga asked.
"You are a remarkable child" she said.
Meanwhile, Kovu and Kiara had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"Will you join the evening hunt?" Kiara asked.
"Of course I will" he purred.
"We haven't hunted together in ages" Kiara said.
Kovu rubbed a paw against her cheek.
"Will Belee and Kia join?" He asked.
"I'm sure they'd like for you to observe their skills" she said.
She rubbed her muzzle against Kovu's cheek.
"I love you" she said warmly.
"I love you too" Kovu answered.
Meanwhile, Simba and Nala had met up inside the den.
"Do you want to join the evening hunt?" Nala asked.
"Darling, I'd love too" he murmured.
He rubbed his muzzle against Nala's cheek.
