It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling the Flood Plains.
"Is Maple doing okay?" Beshte asked.
Fuli nodded.
"Grandma's fine." She answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Beshte said.
Fuli pressed her muzzle against Kion's cheek.
"Can I visit Mari?" Fuli asked.
Kion nodded.
They bade goodbye to their friends, and headed towards Pride Rock.
When they arrived, Mari rushed to greet them.
"Hi!" Mari called.
Fuli's expression softened.
She knelt down, and nuzzled Mari's cheek.
"How are you, Mari?" She asked.
"I'm good." Mari said.
Kion moved forward, and knelt to nuzzle Mari’s cheek.
"Are you having a good day?" Kion asked.
Marigold nodded.
Meanwhile, Diku and Simba had met up at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt, Diku?" Simba asked.
"It was fine." Diku answered.
She leaned over, and nuzzled Simba's cheek.
"I hope you know that I'm proud of you." She said.
Simba nodded.
"I love you, Diku.” Simba said.
“I love you too.” Diku answered.
Meanwhile, Kenai and Kia had met up with Bemba at the Meadow.
They were settled down underneath the baobab tree.
"How was the hunt, Grandma?" Kenai asked.
"It was fine." Bemba answered.
"I caught a galago." Kia said brightly.
"Great job, Kia." Kenai said warmly.
