It was a peaceful day in the Pridelands.
The Lion Guard was patrolling Ukuni Woods.
"How's Maple?" Kion asked.
"She's fine." Fuli answered.
Kion glanced at Ono.
Ono nodded, and took to the sky.
He returned a moment later, and settled down on Beshte's back.
"It's all clear." Ono said.
"Thanks, Ono." Fuli said.
Meanwhile, Simba had met up with Kenai and Kia inside the den.
They were settled down amongst the moss.
“How was the patrol, Grandpa?” Kenai asked.
“It was fine.” Simba answered.
Kia pressed herself against Simba’s pelt.
“I love you, Grandpa.” Kia said.
Simba’s expression softened.
“I love you both very much.” He said.
He extended a paw, and Kenai nestled against him.
“I’m joining the evening hunt.” Simba said.
“Really?” Kia asked.
Simba nodded.
“I want to hunt with you and Belee.” He said.
Meanwhile, Nita had met up with Rafiki at his tree.
She was helping him sort borage leaves.
“How is Mari?” Rafiki asked.
“She’s fine.” Nita answered.
She moved closer, and nestled against Rafiki’s side.
“I really enjoy spending time here.” Nita said.
Rafiki pressed a palm against Nita’s cheek.
“Sweetheart, I enjoy being with you. I love you very much.” Rafiki said.
“I love you too.” Nita said.
