Prey or fresh-kill is a term for the animals that are caught for the purpose of consumption.
Information
The importance of eating is something that all of the inhabitants of the Pridelands are concerned about. Many different species of prey are hunted by the Pridelanders and the inhabitants of the kingdom.
Usually, after killing prey, an animal will give thanks to the Great Kings for its life, and will bury it to keep it safe from other predators until they are ready to carry it back to their home.
