Kiara is the queen of the Pride Lands during her reign. She is the daughter of Simba and Nala, the sister of Kopa and Kion, the mate of Kovu, the great niece of Scar and Zira, (also Zira's adopted daughter-in-law) the sister-in-law of Vitani and Tiffu, the aunt of Dunia, Kidole and Haki and the mother of Petali, Kono and Chatatu.

- She tries to mentor the cubs as much as she can.
- The more she got to know Vitani, the more she thought she was like a sister.

- Kiara is always helping out Kovu in being the best king he can be.
- After Kion was made leader of the Lion Guard, Simba let Kiara hang with Zuri and Tiffu with out his friends babysitting her, but seemed to have dropped this before her first hunt.
